Kennedy on November 22, 1963, with all but one of the cards sent by a member of the Kennedy family, including: Jacqueline Kennedy, bearing a preprinted message addressed to “Burton A. Quigley,” with the original secretarially signed envelope; Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson, bearing a preprinted signature of the president, with White House mailing envelope postmarked December 2, 1963; Joseph and Rose Kennedy, with hand-addressed mailing envelope postmarked December 23, 1963; Robert and Ethel Kennedy, with hand-addressed mailing envelope postmarked January 11, 1964; Joan Kennedy on behalf of her husband Senator Ted Kennedy; Peter Lawford and Patricia Kennedy, with hand-addressed mailing envelope postmarked December 23, 1963; and Eunice and Sargent Shriver, with hand-addressed mailing envelope postmarked January 14, 1964. Also includes an ‘appreciation’ card from Rose Kennedy in regard to the recent passing of her husband, Joseph P. Kennedy, with hand-addressed mailing envelope postmarked January 1970, and a laminated prayer card from the funeral service. In overall fine condition.
