Mike Trout's locker tag name plate issued for the 2011 All-Star Futures Game, 15.75 x 5, signed in silver ink, "Mike Trout, Missed for MLB Debut, 7-8-11." Mounted with a photo of the 11-time All-Star to an overall size of 24 x 24.5. In very fine condition, with an MLB authentication hologram (VS197669) affixed to the lower right.
Already considered one of the MLB's top prospects at age 18, Trout played in the 2010 Futures Game at Angel Stadium, going 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. He inevitably made the Futures Game roster again in 2011, but did not play, as he was called up to the Angels' big league roster on July 8, 2011—three days prior to the prospect showcase.
