Description

Son of auto pioneer Henry Ford (1893–1943) who succeeded his father as head of the Ford Motor Company. His name will forever be associated with the eponymous 1958–60 Ford model that went down as one of the greatest and most costly failures in automotive history. TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, February 10, 1925. Letter regarding a get-together at the Detroit Athletic Club. In part, “I wish to thank you for your letter of February 5th calling attention to the lectures and pictures that will be shown on February 14th at the club…I should like very much to hear Commander Klein, and will endeavor to be at the club if possible.” In fine condition, with pencil notation near lower left corner, date stamp to right side and a staple hole to top.
