Manuscript apostolic benediction in Italian, signed "Pius PP XI," one page on a 7.25 x 4 card, in full (translated): "J. A. Sisto of New York, prostrate at the feet of Your Holiness, asks for the blessing for himself and his family." Prominently signed below in ink by Pope Pius XI, matted with a matte-finish portrait, and framed to an overall size of 15.25 x 21. In very good to fine condition, with subtle brushing to the ink and a horizontal crease across the photograph, passing from the left edge through his chin.
