Three letters from three sons of King George III and Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, including: a three-page LS from Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn, signed “Edward,” 8 x 9.5, dated December 15, 1812; a one-page ALS from Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge, signed “Adolphus Frederick,” handwritten on a 7.25 x 9.25 sheet dated July 9, 1805; and a one-page ALS from Prince Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex, signed “Augustus Frederick,” written on a 4.5 x 7 sheet dated December 21, 1831. In overall very good to fine condition, with creasing, tears, and heavy edge wear to the Edward letter. An appealing group lot highlighted by the presence of Prince Edward, whose only child, Victoria, became Queen of the United Kingdom 17 years after his death.
