Description

DS in Cyrillic, one page, 7 x 10.25, no date. Document headed “Kherson,” issued to Comrade Fyodorov, the Secretary Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, and Comrade Pasenchenko, the chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, in full (translated): “Your response telegram for grain procurement received. The measures you outlined to ensure the task is not sufficient. To raise grain procurement, you need more specific measures in the area and in the districts, on collective farms. In particular the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR says you are to pay your attention to the following districts: A. Alexandrovsky, Belozersky, Genic, Ivanovsky, Novovorontsovsky, Nizhne-Seravozsky, Skadovsky, Kherson, due to which you can raise grain billets. In this very last period of grain procurement, you do not increase the demagnetization of yourself and your cadets, but rather provide a truly Bolshevik correct line of conduct in the struggle for the full and successful completion of the grain procurement plan by Ukraine.” Signed at the conclusion by Nikita Khrushchev and countersigned by Lazar Kaganovich. In fine condition, with trimmed edges and a small stain.
