Signed book: Real Peace: A Strategy for the West. First edition, first printing. NY: Privately printed, 1983. Hardcover with dust jacket, 5.75 x 8.5, 106 pages. Signed nicely on the first free end page in thin blue felt tip, “Richard Nixon.”
TLS signed “RN,” one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, October 10, 1983. Letter to former Alabama state representative James D. Martin, in full: “This is one of 1,000 copies of the private, limited edition of Real Peace: A Strategy for the West. Copies are being sent to a select group of government officials and opinion leaders in the United States and abroad. Little, Brown and Company will publish and distribute the book in the United States and Canada in January 1984. I trust it may contribute to a better understanding of where we have been, where we are, and where we should go in our relations with the Soviet Union, China, Japan, Europe, and the Third World.”
