Official certificate gilt-embossed at the top with the presidential seal, in full: "The President of the United States of America Awards this certificate to James E. Connor, In recognition of his selection as a White House Fellow." Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by President Lyndon B. Johnson. In very good to fine condition, with faint staining, and scattered light foxing and rippling. Over the course of his career in politics, Connor would rise to the position of White House Cabinet Secretary and Staff Secretary to the President under Gerald Ford.
