Description

German V-2 rocket scientist (1908-1983) during World War II who, after being brought to the United States under Operation Paperclip, became the first director of NASA's Kennedy Space Center in 1962. Vintage matte-finish 15 x 10.5 photo of a concept sketch of the Saturn V rocket and launch tower, signed in fountain pen, "Kurt H. Debus, 3. Jan. 77." Affixed to a same-size mount and in fine condition.
