Description

Interesting collection of liquor and bartending ephemera, mostly circa 1930s–1940s, including various booklets, leaflets, handbills, and advertisements. Includes: a price list booklet for "Peter C. Crowley, Importer and Wholesale Dealer in Wines, Liquors, Ales and Cordials"; a scarce third printing of the "Old Mr. Boston Bartender's Guide" booklet, published in 1934; a Bacardi cocktail promo slip with "Bacardi and Its Many Uses" cocktail recipe booklet; a Bacardi price list leaflet; a price list leaflet for "Kelly's Rum," with attached ticket "Good for One Drink on the House"; an advertising leaflet for "Huguley's XXXX Bourbon Whiskey," billing it as "Whiskey that IS Whiskey, Not Poisonous Chemicals"; a ticket for a free sample bottle of Old Amor Rye Whiskey; a Welch & Sullivan handbill advertising Webster Rye and Portsburger Lager; and a price list for Charley's Famous Jamaica Rum. In very good to fine condition, with adhesive residue to the reverse of a few of the items.
