Partly-printed vellum DS as president, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 15.75 x 9.75, November 1, 1827. President Adams grants to “Thomas R. Keith of Virginia” a parcel of land "offered for sale at Tallahassee, in the Territory of Florida, containing three hundred and nineteen acres and seventy five hundredths of an acre." Signed at the conclusion by John Quincy Adams and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. In fine condition, with two small holes at the top, affecting none of the text, and the original seal no longer present.
