TLS signed “Best regards – John Glenn,” one page, 8.5 x 11, personal United States Senate letterhead, February 12, 1993. Letter to Mary Ellen Irwin, the widow of Apollo 15 moonwalker Jim Irwin, in full: “Glad to be on the advisory council of the High Flight Foundation, but it will have to be on the proviso that I really do not have much time to devote to any activities outside of the Senate duties as I am sure you can appreciate. If you are looking for people who really can devote some time to High Flight activities then I will have to decline, and I am sure you understand.” In fine condition.
