Among the organizers of the march listed at the top are the especially notable 'Big Six' of Martin Luther King, Jr., James Farmer, John Lewis, Roy Wilkins, A. Philip Randolph, and Whitney Young. Includes a ten-page mimeographed packet of "Songs for the March on Washington," with lyrics to historic anthems and protest songs such as 'We Shall Overcome,' 'This Land Is Your Land,' 'Blowin' in the Wind,' and others.
