Blackwell,” one page, 10 x 5, no date but circa 1870s. Unaccomplished stock certificate for shares in the Woman's Journal, signed at the conclusion by President E. D. Draper, Treasurer Henry B. Blackwell, and Clerk Sarah Hamilton; a note on the receipt affixed to the left side indicates that the shares were transferred to Blackwell's wife and fellow activist, Lucy Stone. Impressively cloth-matted and framed with an image and 'Let Women Vote' placard to an overall size of 36 x 22. In fine condition.
