(Warner Brothers Studios, 1943) Two original production model sheets of Daffy Duck for the Looney Tunes cartoon The Wise Quacking Duck, directed by Bob Clampett. The first sheet, annotated “Daffy, Model, 151,” depicts the mischievous duck performing a striptease during the cartoon’s ‘It Had to be You’ sequence, and the second sheet contains five different drawings of Daffy, four of which are full-length poses. Both are accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on individual untrimmed 12 x 9.5 sheets of animation paper, with images ranging in size from 1.5 x 1 to 2.5 x 5.5. In overall fine condition, with a block of toning and two pin holes to the multi-figure sheet.
