Hardcover rebound in a green cloth library binding, 10 x 11.75, 145 pages plus 30 photo-etchings with titled tissue guards (two tissue guards missing), and folding chart of Breydon. Book condition: G+/None, with ex-library markings, edges trimmed for rebinding, frontispiece photo-etching partially separated from binding and neatly reattached with tape, and a few edge chips and tears to various pages (none affecting the handsome images themselves). A scarce and sought-after volume of early naturalistic art photography, chronicling Emerson's time spent living aboard a houseboat with his friend T. F. Goodall.
