Eminent French sculptor (1834–1904) best known for designing the Statue of Liberty. ANS signed “Bartholdi,” one page, 4.25 x 2, no date. Handwritten note in English, in full: "To M..., Subscriber to the original model of the Statue of Liberty presented by the Americans to France." In very good to fine condition, with a tear to the bottom right edge, which passes through the end of the signature.
