ALS, penned on the reverse of a 5.5 x 3.25 postcard, postmarked December 9, 1958. Handwritten letter to Thomas Digenti, in full: “Do forgive me if the 2 copies you paid for were not sent to you — I was certain I had, but as I travel so much and Phoenix Book shop keeped me during the summer a certain confusion could have happened. Here are 2 copies, one signed to you, and I hope not too late. I am certainly glad you wrote me. I am overburdened, trying both to write and make the Press grow so it might include other writers.” In fine condition.
