Distinguished British composer (1902-1983) best known for such works as Façade, a theatrical collaboration with Edith Sitwell, and the oratorio Belshazzar's Feast. AMQS on an off-white 8.5 x 4 sheet, signed in fountain pen, "Be a good girl & study well your double counterpoint! William Walton." Walton pens two bars from his "Fanfare for 'Facade.'" In very fine condition.
