Manuscript DS, signed “W. Cheswill, Jus. Peace,” one page, 7.5 x 2.5, December 14, 1811. Promissory note issued by Nathan Pike, who promises to pay Ephraim Fellows $1.17 on demand with interest. Endorsed and signed on the reverse by Wentworth Cheswill as the Justice of the Peace, who writes above, "Justices Court, Dec'r 14th 1811, Judgment for $1.22 Cents." In fine condition.
