Son of President Abraham Lincoln (1843-1926) who served as secretary of war in the Garfield and Arthur administrations. Personal check, 8.25 x 3.25, filled out in another hand and signed by Lincoln, "Robert T. Lincoln," payable to the Superintendent, Bureau of Water for $8.50, November 17, 1909. In fine condition. Accompanied by a cabinet photo of Robert Todd Lincoln by C. M. Bell of Washington and a carte-de-visite featuring "The Last Photograph the President Sat For," showing Abraham Lincoln with his son Tad, published by G. V. Bouve & Co.
