Original crew jacket from the production of the 1989 film Jacknife, which starred Robert De Niro as a war veteran suffering from PTSD and struggling with fitting in with society. The black varsity-style button jacket, size medium, features a black wool body, gray leather sleeves, black knit cuffs and waistband, and stitching to chest sections, “Film Crew 1988” and “Gail” (with designs of a film camera and freight hauler truck), and the back area, “Jacknife,” which features a large beautifully embroidered design of a salmon chasing a fly fisherman’s lure. The inner collar area retains the original “Jacket Master, Inc.” manufacturing label. In fine condition.
Originates from the personal collection of Gail Kearns, who worked as the production coordinator on Jacknife.
