Three Latin documents affiliated with Pope Urban VIII: a vellum manuscript papal brief, signed by "M. A. Maraldus," one page, 15.25 x 5.25, dated 1636; a contemporary manuscript copy of a brief to the clergy of France, six pages, 8 x 12, November 5, 1627; and a contemporary manuscript copy of a letter in favor of Joannes Cabero de Spinoza, two pages, 7.5 x 12.25, May 18, 1624. In overall very good condition, with heavy wrinkling and intersecting folds to the vellum brief, and some minor losses, staining, and soiling to all three.
