Circa 1984 handwritten set list and song lyrics by Prince, annotated in pencil on an off-white 8 x 10.5 sheet of notebook paper, unsigned and undated, entitled at the top, “Purple Rain Show.” The set list contains a total of eight songs, with Prince adding notes and parentheticals to the right of a few (spelling and grammar retained): “Lets go crazy,” “Delerious (watch for cue wih hand) (and rear end),” “1999,” “Little Red Corvette (work on it, voc),” “Computer Blue,” “Darling Nikki (needs work),” “Beutiful ones,” and “Doves cry.” Below the titles Prince adds lyrics to the song ‘Baby I’m a Star,’ as well as a few chord notes: “Hey Look me over / Hey Check it all out / We are all a star / See what Im all about / If I got to scream and shout Baby / Baby Im a star E - E# - D - B / After 3 baby.” The reverse of the page bears a math equation that appears to be summing up some expenses. In fine condition.
