Description

TLS signed “G. W. Lillie,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Pawnee Bill's Oldtown letterhead, April 9, 1933. Letter to “Friend Kerr,” in part: “Yours to hand and it looks to me that I will get the contract for the concession at the World's Fair and further, it looks like I have it financed. In case I do, I will be in Chicago Wednesday to sign up the contracts and make final arrangements. I feel confident that you could be a great aid to me in ordering the logs, tepee poles for the Indian tents and slabs for the cowboy log cabins. You being in that section you could hurry them up and it’s now being so late it is going to keep us mighty busy in order to get ready with all the help we can get.” In very good to fine condition, with staple holes, short edge tears, and creasing in the margins.
