Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “William R,” one page, 15.75 x 11.75, December 1, 1830. King William IV appoints George Nolcken "to be Major in Our Army." Prominently signed in the upper left corner by King William IV, and countersigned at the conclusion by Lord Melbourne. The white seal affixed to the left side remains intact. In fine condition, with a few scattered small stains.
