Interesting collection of 15 original vintage glossy 10 x 8 silver gelatin photos of Rocketdyne F-1 Engineering Mockup 1 (EM-1), all with Rocketdyne watermarks and identification numbers at the bottom. The series features three shots of the whole unit, plus several detailed close-up views of its various parts and components. Bound together into an original Rockwell International folder, marked "Blount." In fine condition.
The F-1 Engineering Mockup 1 was used for configuration change fit ups and physical evaluations before installing the changes on a development engine for hot fire verification. The consignor notes that these photos were owned by one of the engineers who worked on this mockup and on the F-1.
