Four signed items: a satin-finish 5.5 x 4.25 photo of Simenon smoking his pipe, signed and inscribed in black felt tip; a TLS on a personal correspondence card, October 8, 1987, regarding the 1949 film The Man on the Eiffel Tower, in part: "I am in complete agreement with your opinion as to Charles Laughton impersonating Maigret, although I had a great admiration for his talent…Franchot Tone was perfect as Radek"; a Christmas and New Year's card for 1988, signed inside in black felt tip; and a first American edition of Maigret at the Coroner's, hardcover with dust jacket, signed and inscribed on the first free end page in blue felt tip by Simenon.
