Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 23 x 19, March 8, 1919. President Wilson appoints Jay C. Huston of California as "Interpreter to the Consulate of the United States of America at Nanking, China." Signed at the conclusion in ink by President Wilson and countersigned by Acting Secretary of State Frank Polk. The embossed paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact with a crease to one edge. Tightly rolled and in very good to fine condition, with light edgewear and creasing.
