Circa 1980 fast solid state camera from Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, "Model 818, Dwg. 4Y-223071," housed in its 13.75″ x 11.75″ x 11.5″ metal carrying case. This is an early example of a digital camera, using a digital CCD (charge coupled device) on an analog camera back. It has provisions for AC or DC power, plus four digital outputs. In very good to fine condition. An interesting example of a camera designed to record diagnostic pictures of unpredictable high-speed events.
