Wm. B. Astor,” one page, 9.5 x 3, September 15, 1832. Receipt transferring all "right, title, and interest in one hundred shares in the Capital Stock of the Mohawk & Hudson Railroad Company," signed at the conclusion by William Backhouse Astor, Sr., on behalf of his father. Mounted, matted, and framed with a portrait to an overall size of 22 x 12. In fine condition.
