Description

ALS in pencil, one page both sides, 9 x 15.5, June 9, 1950. Handwritten letter to Mr. Silberman, in part: "We are delighted to know there's a prospect of the Chief Whaleman's arrival. Last season was a great disappointment for him, and it is beyond mortal power to predict what the run will be in '38. If he liked to chase mackerel that would be different. Young Bobby Fisher took 3,000 pounds of mackerel, the other night, and his father was sober when he told us about it." In fine condition.
