Two signed items: an ALS, one page both sides, 4 x 6.25, January 24, 1888, in part: "I'm very sorry—but I have an engagement for Friday—so, can't come to your Party—I must come and see you one day quietly in a little while if you will let me. I hope you feel stronger and are able to paint again now"; and a partial ALS in pencil, one page, 4 x 6, no date, in part: "You send them to me to be coloured. I'll talk about the one for steel later on. I'll do a small group. Couldn't it be done on copper." Also includes three Christmas cards designed by Greenway, all with printed signatures. In overall fine condition.
