Description

Three strands of hair from the head of President Ronald Reagan, originally snipped and obtained by his barber Milt Pitts, ranging in approximate size from 1″ to 2″, contained in a clear plastic sleeve, which is affixed to a photocopy of a photo of Reagan with Pitts and his manicurist outside the White House barber shop on March 23, 1982; inherent to the photocopy is an inscription from Pitts to Bill Perkins, who purchased the hair samples. In fine condition. Accompanied by several photocopies of documents describing the hair's provenance, as well as an invoice from University Archives.
