Partial manuscript DS signed on the front and back by King George II as “George R.,” one page, both sides, 6 x 2.25, November 15, 1729. The front concerns a receipt of payment, which reads: "Received of The Lord Wilmington halfe a Years Dividend on £14'000: South Sea Annuity's due at Michelmas last past." The reverse regards a payment transfer, in full: "…were by Our Order Tranfer'd by The Said Earl of Wilmington to John Selwyn Esq'r Treasurer and Receiver General to Our Dearest Consort the Queen." Signed boldly on both sides by King George II. In fine condition. Encapsulated in a Beckett authentication holder.
