French realist artist and sculptor (1822-1899) known for her paintings of animals. Two ALSs in French, totaling five pages on three sheets, dated 1854 and 1865. In the first, she mentions "tableaux de moutons [sheep paintings]" and small photographs. In the second, she makes reference to Fontainebleau. In overall fine condition.
