First edition Command/Service Module Lunar Orbit Chart for the Apollo 15 mission, 40.5 x 12, dated June 1, 1971, which depicts the near side and far side of the lunar terrain, with trajectory tracking lines for CSM revolutions 1, 44, 45, and 74. Lithographed by ACIC 6-71 and prepared under the direction of the Department of Defense by the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center. Rolled and in fine condition, with multiple vertical folds. From the personal collection of Paul Kruppenbacher, a member of the NASA Houston Landing and Recovery Division who trained Apollo astronauts in water recovery procedures and was deployed on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers for crew and spacecraft recovery operations.
