First edition Lunar Module Ascent Monitor Chart for the Apollo 15 mission, 21 x 10, dated May 3, 1971, which depicts various carters and landmarks of the Hadley Rille landing site. Lithographed by ACIC 5-71 and prepared under the direction of the Department of Defense by the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center. Rolled and in fine condition, with two vertical folds. From the personal collection of Paul Kruppenbacher, a member of the NASA Houston Landing and Recovery Division who trained Apollo astronauts in water recovery procedures and was deployed on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers for crew and spacecraft recovery operations.
