Description

American psychologist and social philosopher (1904-1990) who was the Edgar Pierce Professor of Psychology at Harvard University from 1958 until his retirement in 1974; contemporary academia considers Skinner a pioneer of modern behaviorism, along with John B. Watson and Ivan Pavlov. Two items: a glossy 5 x 7 close-up photo of B. F. Skinner posing outdoors, signed in black ballpoint; and a printed 13-page booklet containing a Skinner article entitled 'Teaching Machines,' 8.25 x 11, signed on the front cover in black ballpoint. In overall fine condition.
