Arthur Loew, Sr.'s pair of large silver-colored flasks, each measuring approximately 6.5″ x 9.5″ x 2″ and marked as having a 64-ounce capacity, manufactured in England by A.W.F. & Co. The handsome twin flasks are held inside a fitted light brown leather briefcase, measuring 14.5″ x 11″ x 3″, monogrammed on the top with his initials, "A. M. L." In very good to fine condition, with wear, scuffing, and splits to the exterior of the briefcase. Obtained from the estate of Arthur Loew, Sr., and accompanied by a later handwritten notecard describing the piece: "Arthur Loew, Sr., president of Loew International, built theatres around the world. He and these antique flasks survived a plane crash in Africa." Robert Shelton's Old Tucson Studios Collection
