MGM founder Marcus Loew, Sr.'s black top hat, featuring a soft black fur exterior with black felt hatband, cream-colored satin lining (marked inside with his initials, "ML," hand-painted in gold), and supple brown leather inner headband. The satin lining is marked with the retailer's label, "McCue Bros. and Drummond, New York," listing their several addresses. In very good to fine condition, with the inner band partially detached, and some wear and fraying to the hat's edges.
