Description

Magic Sam (1937-1969) was a Chicago blues musician influenced by Muddy Waters and Little Walter, who is best known for his first record, All Your Love, and the single 'Feelin' Good (We're Gonna Boogie)'; he died suddenly of a heart attack at 32 years old. Red felt tip signatures, "Magic Sam" and "Mac Thompson," on an off-white 4.75 x 2.25 card. Matted with an image of Magic Sam to an overall size of 11.75 x 15.75. In fine condition. Mac Thompson was a notable blues bass and guitar player, who was a childhood friend of Magic Sam. He played bass with Clarence Gatemouth Brown and Magic Sam, among others.
