Collection of 14 vintage ink and pencil signatures of the Jimmie Lunceford Orchestra, written on individual off-white sheets ranging in size from 2.25 x 1.25 to 3.25 x 2.25, with musicians including: Jimmie Lunceford, James Crawford, Eddie Durham, Earl Carruthers, Joe Thomas, Paul Webster, Edwin Wilcox, Russell Bowles, Eddie Tompkins, Sy Oliver, Austin Brown, Mose Allen, Dan Grisson, and Elmer Crumley. Removably corner-mounted to two display sheets. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by an original Swedish tour program. Consignor notes that the signatures were obtained during the band’s 1940 tour of Sweden.
