National League uniform player's contract in which Stan Musial agrees to render "skilled services as a baseball player during the year 1961" for the St. Louis Cardinals, for a salary of $60,000. A two-article rider is attached, promising to pay an additional $18,000 annually during Musial's retirement in exchange for public appearances. Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Stan Musial, National League President Warren Giles, and St. Louis General Manager Vaughan 'Bing' Devine.
