(Walt Disney Studios, 1937) Well done and very detailed original watercolor concept painting of Snow White and forest creatures—deer, squirrels, birds, bunnies, raccoons, and a chipmunk—by Frank Follmer, accomplished in watercolor on an 18 x 12 sheet. The artwork shows Snow White surrounded by her woodland critter friends inside the rustic cottage. Signed in the lower right corner in pencil, "F. Follmer." In fine condition, with uniform toning to the sheet. Accompanied by a copy of a 1997 letter from the Disney Archives attesting to Follmer's role at Disney. Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia. He alienated Walt Disney when he organized a strike against the studio, and ultimately left to join the Navy.
