(Walt Disney Studios, 1937) Superb and highly detailed original watercolor concept painting of Snow White and all seven dwarfs—Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey—by Frank Follmer, accomplished in watercolor on an 18 x 12 sheet. The artwork shows Snow White and her friends inside their woodland cottage, with forest creatures sharing the room. Signed in the lower right corner in pencil, "Frank Follmer." In fine condition, with uniform toning to the sheet. Accompanied by a copy of a 1997 letter from the Disney Archives attesting to Follmer's role at Disney. Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia. He alienated Walt Disney when he organized a strike against the studio, and ultimately left to join the Navy.
