Description

Uncommon souvenir program for the Beatles’ 1964 Australian Tour, 34 pages, 8.25 x 11.25, with the inside harboring an incredible assortment of Fab Four images and articles, in addition to information relating to Sounds Incorporated, Alan Field, Johnny Devlin, Johnny Chester, and The Phantoms. In fine condition, with light handling wear, and an ownership notation on the back cover.

The Beatles stormed Australia early into their first world tour, playing eight shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney between June 12 and 20, 1964, a span made notable for the presence of drummer Jimmie Nicol, who replaced Ringo Starr from June 3-15 while he was recovering from tonsillitis and pharyngitis.
