Wonderful pairing of vintage matte-finish portraits of Prince George and Princess Marina: one measures 2.5 x 3 and depicts the Duke and Duchess of Kent in a close-up profile pose by Dorothy Wilding, signed in fountain pen, "George" and "Marina," affixed to the original 3 x 2.5 studio mount, with the front bearing a Wilding stamp and the reverse her studio label, numbered "07740L"; the second measures 2.75 x 3.5 and shows the royal couple seated and holding the newborn Prince Edward, signed in fountain pen, "George, 1935" and "Marina," affixed to a slightly larger mount. In overall fine condition, with light silvering to the darker areas of the images.
