TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, United States Senate letterhead, February 13, 1958. Letter to Mr. and Mrs. Ken Browne, in full: "My apologies for the long delay in answering the nice letters you have sent in the past year. I have been quite busy with hearings and investigative work in the field, giving me very little time to spend on my own personal mail. I am sorry too for not having complied with your request for a photo sooner. My wife Ethel tells me she has been unable to find a family picture suitable enough for you; so I hope you will take second choice and accept the enclosed photograph. Thank you again for your letters and for your interest in the work that we are doing." In fine condition, with creasing to the edges.
