It will include, among other things: the flight suit worn by Charles Lindbergh during his historic New York to Paris flight of May, 1927…a wheelchair used by President Franklin D. Roosevelt…James Dean's motorcycle…a nuclear weapon (disarmed)…Albert Einstein's letter to FDR first outlining the possibilities of nuclear power…historic documents relating to the Manhattan Project, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and Supreme Court decisions…a life jacket from the Titanic; the altimeter from the Hindenburg…sports memorabilia associated with Babe Ruth, Tom Harmon, Knute Rockne, Hank Aaron, Ty Cobb, and Mark McGuire…a lunar landing module and console from an early Apollo space craft…I would be greatly honored if you could accept this invitation."
